Value Stream Map

We use computer simulation as a tool to improve layouts and processes.  With its ability to provide the same range of performance measures as the real system, a model lets us examine the effect of contemplated changes to existing layouts and processes, and even to predict performance of layouts not yet implemented and processes not yet realized.  We also use simulation to carry out value stream mapping for complex and mixed flow systems, as it helps our clients to test 'what-if' scenarios, and get a better understanding of both the current and future states than traditional 'paper and pencil' methods.

Please take a look at the presentation on simulation, to learn more about this powerful tool for improvement.
